Established Office 365 Environment and Migrated from Google Suite: Directed the migration from Google Suite to a robust Office 365 and Azure environment, improving collaboration, security, and scalability for employees across North America, APAC, and EMEA regions.

Created Standardized Gold Build Images: Implemented standardized gold build images using tools like Microsoft Intune and Autopilot to streamline device provisioning, ensuring consistent configurations across the global workforce, which enhanced IT support efficiency.

Implemented Global VPN Infrastructure with Regional Gateways and High Availability: Designed and deployed a company-wide VPN solution to support a growing global workforce, with multiple regional gateways across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Implemented Software-Defined Printing Policies: Spearheaded the deployment of software-defined policies for network printing across North America, enforcing standards for duplex printing, black-and-white versus color, secure printing, and more. Collaborated with key stakeholders to define branch-specific printing requirements. This initiative led to annual cost savings of over $100,000.

Deployed Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) at Corporate Offices and Configured Wireless Networks Across Branch Locations: Implemented Cisco WLC at the two corporate offices (United States & Canada) and worked with vendors to install the access points (APs) at both corporate locations and branch offices. Developed a secure and reliable wireless network with strict access policies, ensuring consistent performance across all sites. Additionally, implemented a rogue AP detection policy to identify and address unauthorized devices, reinforcing network security across the entire organization. 

Replaced Physical Fax Machines with Cloud-Based Solution: Eliminated the need for traditional fax machines by implementing the XMediusFAX cloud-based fax service, enabling customers and employees to send and receive faxes from anywhere without relying on physical devices or on-site cabling. This solution streamlined communication, improved efficiency, and reduced costs by centralizing fax management and removing the need for office-based hardware. The move also enhanced flexibility and supported remote work while cutting down on infrastructure expenses. 

Redesigned Video Surveillance Systems: Standardized video surveillance systems across North American branch locations to meet security and compliance requirements. Conducted vendor demos and designed an IP-based solution with centralized management, using Axis cameras and Milestone software. Established a 12-month deployment plan and ensured ongoing system monitoring for improved reliability and performance.

Led Windows 10 Migration for Branch and Corporate Locations: Directed the successful migration of over 1,200 workstations across the United States and Canada. Utilized standardized images and deployment tools, such as ManageEngine Desktop Central, to ensure a smooth and timely transition. Completed the migrations within 6 months, meeting all deadlines and minimizing disruption to business operations. 

Ahold Delhaize

Led Windows 7 Migration for Retail, Distribution, and Corporate Locations: Managed the migration of approximately 1000 workstations across 100 retail locations, distribution facility, and corporate headquarters. Utilized standard images and deployment tools like LANDesk and Altiris to meet tight deadlines, completing the migrations within 5 months for all locations. 

Lead for Mail Order Pharmacy Transition Project: Led the IT efforts to bring mail order pharmacy operations in-house from a third-party provider, with a strict 90-day deadline. Managed Layer 1 cabling planning and network infrastructure deployment, including Cisco networking equipment, Zebra barcode printers, fingerprint scanners, video surveillance systems, and server hardware. Streamlined the project plan to complete the transition ahead of schedule.

IT Lead for Refrigeration System Upgrade Project: Led the technology implementation for a six-month warehouse refrigeration system upgrade. Collaborated with users to gather requirements and ensure the right technology selection. Deployed a physically segregated wired and wireless network, meeting security and compliance standards, on the Cisco business platform. The new network allowed technicians to troubleshoot and perform maintenance remotely, reducing the need for additional personnel.

Launched Syn-Tech Fuel Management Solution: Successfully launched a new fuel management system (Syn-Tech Fuel Master) with innovative features not initially planned, such as an RFID ring for fuel tanks that integrated with vehicle computers to capture fuel usage data. Worked closely with vendors and internal teams to document best practices and trained IT staff for future deployments across other warehouses.

Implemented CCTV System via Twisted Pair Converters: Deployed a comprehensive CCTV solution across a 1.5 million square foot warehouse using American Dynamics DVR systems. Leveraged abandoned telco lines by utilizing twisted pair converters, repurposing the old tip-and-ring lines left unused after transitioning to VoIP technology. This approach significantly reduced installation costs and complexity by avoiding the need for new cabling, while enhancing security coverage throughout the facility.
